For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
When all around you is beauty
And your heart is filled with awe
When all around is nature at its very best
Look to Him, for perspective, for context
When your heart is heavy
And life no sense makes, whatsoever
When gloom and despair seem to surround
Look to Him, for perspective, for context
When life is good, and you are thrilled to bits
When you are with joy and goodness filled
And you just could not ask for anything more
Look to Him, for perspective, for context
When you stand all alone
With no one to call your own
When you are confused, wondering whatever next
Look to Him, for perspective, for context
Look to Him, for perspective, for context
May you never forget on any pretext
That it is He and He alone, who the Source
The Creator and the Everlasting Friend
He also the only One whose Word will never fail
And His every word is aye and amen
He the only One who will never ever leave you
So turn to Him, for on Him you can surely count.
