Chosen - What Guts!

Deuteronomy 14:2 (NIV)

For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be his treasured possession.

Who but He would dare

To choose, use and prepare

The least, the weakest of them all

To be ones to live daily, to show all

His amazing salvation and eternal plan

For His precious and chosen clan

Now if that ain't awesome, my friend, what is?

That the King and Lord of the entire universe

Would stoop to mortals such as you and me

To partner with Him and create history?

To be the light and salt to a world gone bad

Because of the impact that sin has had

So what say, dear friend are you up to this task? 

Or would you rather in praises of men, bask?

Choose Him dear one, who is ever your friend 

Let Him use you to reach and bless your world

To those needy and hurting, His light to be, joyfully

As He remains to you true and faithful, eternally
