Integrity – Integrity Perfected in Christ (365/182)

Only Jesus lived with perfect integrity, His words, actions, and character always in complete harmony with the Father's will.
Jesus is the perfect embodiment of integrity. Standing before Pilate, He refused to distort the truth to save His own life, declaring that He had come into the world "to bear witness to the truth" (John 18:37). Though falsely accused, reviled, and unjustly condemned, "He committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth" (1 Peter 2:22). Instead, He entrusted Himself to the Father who judges righteously (1 Peter 2:23). Even when tempted in every way, He remained without sin (Hebrews 4:15).
Our God is perfectly true - He never lies, never changes, and every promise He makes is trustworthy (Numbers 23:19; Titus 1:2).
Jesus perfectly revealed the Father's character, living in complete obedience and flawless integrity. Through His death and resurrection, He forgives our failures and transforms us by His Spirit. As we abide in Him, He shapes us to reflect His truth, faithfulness, and integrity each day.
Unlike every other example this week, Jesus is more than our example - He is our Redeemer. Through His death and resurrection, He forgives our failures and, by His Spirit, transforms us to reflect His truth, faithfulness, and integrity.
Pause and Ponder
Is my life marked by the same consistency between words, actions, and motives that I see in Christ?
Where am I tempted to compromise truth for acceptance, comfort, or approval?
How can I depend on the Holy Spirit to cultivate Christlike integrity in me today?
Integrity is becoming more like Christ, whose life perfectly reflects the Father's character.
God of truth, forgive me for the times I have compromised my integrity. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and may my life bear witness to You in word and deed. Amen.
