Identity in Christ – Identity Rooted in God's Design (365/130)

Have you ever questioned your purpose or wondered how God could use you? Perhaps you feel ordinary, overlooked, unqualified, or uncertain about your place in His plan.
The Bible reminds us "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10
Workmanship speaks of a masterpiece, a work of art skillfully crafted by its maker. And God says you are His workmanship, fashioned with care, intention, and purpose. He created you in His image (Genesis 1:26-27). He redeemed you when He died on that cross and rose again for you (1Peter 1:18-19). He continues to sanctify you. Through joys and sorrows, successes and setbacks, relationships and challenges, God is shaping you into the likeness of Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:18). You and I are called to walk faithfully in the good works that He has prepared for us to walk in.
Pause and Ponder
In what areas of my life do I struggle to believe that God has intentionally created and gifted me for His purposes?
How might God be using current challenges, relationships, or circumstances to shape me into the likeness of Christ?
What good work might God be inviting me to step into today for the benefit of someone else?
When life feels confusing or unfinished, remember that masterpieces take time. The Master Craftsman has not abandoned His work. He is still shaping you according to His perfect plan. You are not a random collection of experiences. You are God's workmanship, lovingly crafted and purposefully called.
Father, thank You for choosing me and making me part of Your people through Jesus Christ. Help me live by my identity in You and may my life proclaim Your praises and reflect Your light. Amen.
